Meetings
Please note latest dates for IAA meetings:
AGM - Saturday May 7th. Time 11am. Venue TBC
During the course of the year IAA invites members to 4 meetings to inform people of the progress of its work and to be accountable to its membership for the works undertaken. The forum also involves guest speakers and allows for interaction and questions and answers. Details of our upcoming council meeting can be found in our news and events section.
In line with our Memo’s and Articles of Association an AGM is held annually each year to elect the board and to establish key priorities to be addressed by that board.
The last IAA Board of Directors meeting took place on Tuesday 14th December 2010. A schedule for meetings for 2011 will be published on this website shortly. The range of meeting dates to be published will be Board of Directors meetings, EGM, AGM and Council Meetings. At our last AGM, various resolutions were passed which would involve amending our Memorandum and Articles of Association. We are presently working with our legal advisors so that we can hold an EGM in late January/early February 2011 to address these matters. Note that the date for our EGM will be available shortly. The last Council meeting of Irish Autism Action took place on Saturday October 9th 2010 in the Ashling Hotel in Dublin. All of the presentations delivered at this meeting were filmed.
