In addition to appropriate education provision, the provision of therapy support, such as occupational therapy, psychology and speech and language therapy should be provided as per the recommendations contained in the professional report that you secure.
Unfortunately, within this State, it is becoming increasingly difficult to access these therapies, predominantly because of vacancies within the HSE. Recently, the HSE have taken the initiative of outsourcing therapy service provision, an example of such being Enable Ireland. IAA is examining it's capacity to develop a proposal to also become a service provider in this area.
