Irish Autism Action needs your help. Whether you can make a donation of €10 or €500, every single bit helps! IAA is most grateful to accept contributions of any amount. If not for your generosity, we could not continue our work with children with autism and their families.

To put it in perspective: €5 might not seem like very much, but if 9 of your friends gave €5 too, you have just paid for 1 hour of 1-1 counselling in the Solas Centre. If 19 of your friends gave another €5 each, you have paid for the venue for the support group meeting.

That means that a parent with a newly diagnosed child has someone to talk to, to get them over the grief of finding out that they don't have the child they thought they have. And if they can meet up with other parents who have had longer to accept autism and understand it, they will feel a lot less alone. It will make them better parents and that means a better quality of life for the whole family.

Please note: If you can afford to give up to €250 in the same calendar year, the Revenue Commissioners will refund to us this amount of income tax you have paid relevant to your net donation. That means we get another €250!

Suddenly you are 1/3rd of the way to paying for an entire comprehensive diagnosis for a family that suspects autism, that needs to get on with getting an intervention, but who don't have the money up front or time to wait for a public diagnosis (which can take up to 2 years or more)

It couldn't be simpler:

When you find our webpage on the site, simply enter in the amount of money you want to donate. This is lodged directly to our bank account with your name as a reference, so we know exactly who we've received the donation from. It's as simple as that!

By phone
Using your credit/debit card, please call the National Office on 044 9331609 during office hours.

By post
Cheques or postal orders should be made payable to: Irish Autism Action, 41 Newlands, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. All donations will be acknowledged as soon as possible by post.

Standing orders
A regular donation by standing order is particularly helpful. If your circumstances change and you need to cancel the standing order at any time, all you have to do is instruct your bank to cease payment. A standing order to IAA is just a pledge to help while you can.
