City autism centre to extend its services

A local organisation is spearheading a project to refurbish an autism centre in the city in a bid to extend its range of services. Galway Autism Partnership (GAP) will spend up to €70,000 transforming Tigh Ronain at Laurel Park, Newcastle, into a state-of-the art facility this year. Strabane landmark sites to shine brightly in blue for World Autism Awareness Day

TWO landmark sites in Strabane are today (Wednesday) taking on a different hue in support of World Autism Awareness Day. Both the Alley Arts and Conference Centre and the Let the Dance Begin sculptures - popularly known as 'The Tinnies' - will be illuminated blue to raise awareness of autism.
